One of the challenges for the entry exam to form a rescue team for the guild.

One detail is that riolu wouldn't know aura sphere at this point, but I hadn't decided that when I made this comic. He would have still completed this challenge with force palm though. ALSO SLASH (the pawniard) IS A LOT GOOFIER THAN THIS, I THOUGHT THEY WERE COOL I'M SORRY.
